We provide access to other programs, such as mental health support, and resources to help you in your journey to recovery.

TJ

Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS)

Timothy TJ Brinnon is a deeply compassionate individual whose life's work is grounded in service to others. His commitment to helping those in the grips of addiction and mental health challenges stems not only from his professional training but also from a profound well of lived experience. Currently pursuing his Bachelor of Social Work at Walden University, Timothy is building on a foundation that already includes several vital credentials in the behavioral health field, including his status as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) and a former Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA).

While Timothy has walked the path of clinical counseling, his heart lies in peer support — a field that allows him to connect directly, authentically, and powerfully with individuals navigating the darkest chapters of their lives. He sees peer support not as a job but as a calling — a sacred space where trust, understanding, and lived empathy transform lives. His approach blends evidence-based practices with personal testimony, rooted in a deep understanding of addiction as a chronic and complex disease rather than a moral failing.

Timothy believes that true change happens not from behind a desk, but on the front lines — in the shelters, on the streets, in the halfway houses, and wherever the fight for recovery is happening. He is unafraid to meet people where they are, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. He stands by the belief that harm reduction is not a compromise but a crucial and compassionate strategy in saving lives. In his view, telling someone to "just say no" is not only ineffective, it is dismissive of the nuanced reality of addiction.

Having worked in both clinical and housing settings, Timothy brings a rare and invaluable versatility to the fight against substance use disorders. He has the training to understand systemic challenges and the personal courage to engage with individuals that many shy away from — the ones labeled “difficult,” “non-compliant,” or “too far gone.” To Timothy, no one is beyond hope, and every life is worthy of love, dignity, and a chance at redemption.

His work is not driven by accolades or recognition, but by the quiet knowledge that someone out there — someone’s son, daughter, parent, or friend — is still breathing today because he showed up, listened, advocated, and believed in them when no one else would. In every interaction, Timothy TJ Brinnon demonstrates that compassion is not weakness — it is strength, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to humanity.

Ryan Profitt

Hi, my name is Ryan Profitt.

I spent 25 years in addiction—but by the grace of God, Jesus changed my life. Today, I’ve been clean going on 3 years, and my heart is fully in helping others who are still struggling find their way to freedom.

I’m an ordained pastor, and my passion is walking alongside my brothers and sisters in addiction as they discover that recovery is possible. Whether it’s through faith, encouragement, or just showing up for someone who needs support—I’m here for it.

Outside of that, I’m a big fan of the outdoors. I love to hunt, fish, and catch a good game. But nothing fires me up more than seeing people find hope, healing, and a new path forward.

If I can support you or someone you care about on this journey, I’m always willing to talk.
